ISP Router/Modem Admin Access Guide (for LTE Integration)

ISP Router/Modem Admin Access Guide (for LTE Integration)

ISP Router/Modem Admin Access Guide

Cluster Systems requires admin access to your ISP-provided router or modem to configure your POS network for LTE communication.

⚠️ Without these credentials, setup may be delayed or incomplete.

This guide helps Cluster POS merchants obtain the necessary admin credentials (username and password) for their ISP-provided router or modem.

How to Obtain Admin Access

There are three ways to get the Admin Credentials for your router or modem:

I.  Check the Device

Inspect your router or modem for a label showing the Admin Username and Password.  Some devices include a QR code you can scan to view these credentials.

II.  Check Your ISP Account

Review your ISP welcome email or log into your online account/portal for Admin Credentials.

III.  Contact ISP Provider Support

If you can’t find them, contact your provider and request the Admin Username and Password for your router/modem.

👉 Mention it’s required for Cluster Systems to configure the required port forwarding rule for your POS system to complete your network setup.

Before Contacting Your ISP

Have the following details ready:

  • Account holder’s full name

  • Service address

  • Account number or phone number

  • Government-issued ID (if required)

  • Confirmation that you’re listed as an authorized contact on the account

⚠️If you’re not listed, please have the account holder add you before contacting your ISP.
